“The Lion Of Bourdillon

Nigerian Television station, AIT broadcasted a documentary titled “The Lion Of Bourdillon” accusing National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu of high levels of corruption during and after his time as governor of Lagos. The hour-long documentary, aired on March 1 at 11 p.m., and titled “Unmasking the Real Tinubu” showcased various properties and companies across Lagos purportedly owned by Mr. Tinubu, described as “Nigeria’s biggest landlord”. The programme also claimed that Mr. Tinubu was “charged for narcotics” in 1993 in the United States.

Corrupt politicians brandishing their ill-gotten wealth, and living lavish life style at the expense of the electorates and going free are one of the major reasons why a lot of criminally minded people in Nigeria are those aspiring for political offices in Nigeria, because most of them are  motivated based on their selfish interests and motives instead of the interest of the people that elected. It's truly annoying that after corrupt politicians siphoning funds meant for development of people and infrastructures, they always go free. This is why the most profitable business or career in Nigeria is politics. That is why the so-called politicians in Nigeria are desperate to outsmart and outwit their opponents. I think that after the documentaries on TV, it's high time to bring politicians to book, and in so doing dis encourage others, which is what a lot of people are asking the incumbent government to do.

We bring you these documentary as broadcasted by African Independent Television (AIT) on March 1st, in case you missed watching the documentary, watch and let us know you opinion.
