Lessons from Brendan Eich, Mozilla CEO Firing; 21st Century Leadership Skill and Shortcomings

There has been much celebration and consternation over the forced resignation of Mozilla CEO Brendan Eich.
Much of the commentary reflects surprise at the firing.
This sort of incident should surprise no one. It’s just one more indication among many that effective 21st century leadership is quite distinct from familiar, 20th century norms.
As Eich acknowledged in his departure statement, he could no longer be an “effective leader” under the circumstances.

There are laws that govern different aspects of life, such as the law of gravity, law of sowing and reaping, law of action and reaction etc., the same way there are laws and principles that governs Success and Fulfillment and if you ignore or violate them, it’s at your own risk. Hello folks, its the dawning of a new day, i usher you into the 2nd half of the year 2014. Peradventure the 1st half of the year might ve not been as fruitful nor fulfilling as you anticipated but nevertheless it is not over until it is all over, you can bounce back into this 2nd half of the year with new direction, new vision, vigor, commitment, strategies and resilience. Just as a football team might be down with a goal or two during  the first half of a match and after the motivational pep talk during the half time, the same team that was down with one or even three goals can come back, equalize and even win the match.
