United States Plans to Influence or Force Nigeria Govt To Legalize Same-Sex Marriage

Nigeria gay
The United States of America has said that it would continue to pressurize on Nigeria until the country legalizes same-sex unions.

These guys can bag up to 14 years in prison in Nigeria. Nigerians anti-gay laws are among toughest in the world.
Truly we are living at the Last days as the signs are here. The United States has condescended so low to promote Same sex marriage. And President Obama has lost the respect we have for him. The US President and her people thinks they can influence that satanic law to every nation probably to fulfill the pledge or deal he or they have with the devil. We as Nigerians has made our stand very clear even through our former president Goodluck Jonathan and we hope his successor with uphold it .
President Buhari will be visiting the Obama soonest at the White house, i perceive this is one of the topics which Obama will be discussing with President Buhari and will try to influence him to support same sex marriage. We pray that President Buhari would tow the line of his predecessor and renounce and condemn sodomy, which happens to be the act recorded in the Holy Bible that provoked and attracted the wrath of God to the fallen nation of Sodom and Gomorrah. Gay marriage is morally and socially wrong, and any form of civilization and human rights that promotes same sex is satanic, and we Nigerians detest and abhor it.
This was revealed on Monday, July 13, 2015, by the US Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs, Linda Thomas-Greenfield during a live-web chat with journalists.
Thomas-Greenfield said:
“As a government, it is one of the highest priorities and strongest values that discrimination against anyone based on their sexual orientation and gender identity is wrong. We believe human rights should be available to everybody.”
“As a policy, we will continue to press the government of Nigeria, as well as other governments which have provided legislation that discriminate against the LGBT community.”

Thomas-Greenfield also said that pressuring Nigeria to reverse the anti-gay law did not amount to interference with the country’s sovereignty.
She said:
“This is very much a work in progress, but I think you will agree with me that the law in Nigeria really went far in discriminating against this community but also people who associate with them. So, we will continue to press the government, to press the legislature to change these laws and provide human rights for all Nigerian people regardless of their sexual orientation.”
The US Supreme Court, on June 26, 2015, legalized gay marriage in all the country’s 50 states.
Meanwhile, Nigeria’s anti-homosexuality law was passed in January 2014 and carries a maximum sentence of 14 years.
