Contentment the Ultimate Key to Peace, Joy and Godliness

Hi, brethren,
Peace be unto you! This is your week! As we round up the first half of this year. Whatever you have been trusting the Lord God for that ll bring glory to His Holy name before the end of this first half, the Lord shall perform it in your life, family, business and career in Jesus name, Amen!
I don't know why the Spirit of God has been prompting me to share more light on the topic of Contentment.
I strongly believe there is someone out there whom the Lord is sending this message for at this time. It was a Heaven on Earth experience last Saturday at Christ Friends Fellowship, as we discussed the same topic.

But godliness with contentment is great gain.
For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith be contented. But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness -1Tim 6: 6-11 KJV
In view of the passage of God's word above, we can see that godliness and contentment is great gain. We ought to be contented with what we have today or the level we are, and also have confidence, trust and faith in God that no matter where we are that He can make our dreams and aspiration to come true. While lack of contentment is a proof that one does not have faith, trust, confidence nor gratitude to God. Even if you don't have food or raiment (clothing) you have to be contented after all you have life. As a living dog is better than a dead lion. Even Jesus tells us that a man's life does not consist on the things he possess.
Some of the major causes of problems in the world today are traceable to lack of contentment, it breeds worry, fear, doubt, greed, lust and covetousness. These are the root causes of sin, killing, stealing, corruption, fraud, depression, struggling, sorrow, and sickness. When one refuses to appreciate what he has, he would any possible to get whatever he thinks he lacks, whereas he already has it all, but he is not aware of what he have in Christ and how he call it to manifest in the physical realm through faith in Christ name.

Another factor that breeds discontentment is competition amongst people. You don't need to compete with any one but with yourself to be better than who you were yesterday. No wonder, its written that they that compete amongst themselves are not wise.
Lack of contentment is what caused the fall of man in the garden. Although Adam and Eve have everything, including the Spirit of God, and close fellowship of relationship with God and yet the devil convinced them they lacked something. The thing they dont need which God instructed them not to touch, so they can be like God whereas as they are already like God. The devil led them to disobey God by activating the lust of the eyes and the pride of life in them to disobey God and lust after that which God commanded not to touch.

"For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat" - Genesis 3:5-6
In view of the foregoing scriptures, the devil offered them what they already have. Because Adam and Eve are already gods on earth. It is written in the book of Psalms 82:6 "I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.
Today, a lot of people are allowing the devil to deceive them by heeding to the voice of the devil by touching, doing and lusting after what God ask them not to touch or do.
Let us be happy and contented with what we have and not be enticed by ungodly people nor lust after other person's properties by all means. Lust is when one strives to get something by all means; by hook or crook because he is not contented. Let us be happy with what we have and not lust to have anything by all means.

To be continued.
Thou shall know the truth and truth shall make u free!
