The dangerous new scam you need to know about: Conmen target bank customers calling from a phone number that mimics that of their bank


After you have earned your money, the next step is to protect it, say Richard Templar in his book The Rules of Wealth. You ve got know the schemes which scammers employ to scam unsuspecting people of their hard earned money, hence we are dishing this info to you.

When a victim receives a call on their mobile, or home phone if they have one which has a screen showing incoming call details, the number of their bank will flash up on the display. Anyone suspicious about the legitimacy of who is phoning will be told to look at the number printed on the back of the debit card issued by their bank. This will match the one showing on the phone.
