Pastor Adeboye shares How a Problem led Him to Christ and How the Founder of RCCG in His Will Appointed Him to Be the General Overseer Before His Death

Pastor Adeboye was voted by Newsweek as one of the world’s 50 most influential people in 2008. Pastor Adeboye was interviewed by CNN’s Christian PurefoyHe share hiss call, humilty and many more.
Q. “How did you find God?”
A. “I came to know God in a fairly dramatic way. I was born into a christian home and always gone to church because my parents said we had to go. But after I grew up and left home – I drifted away from church until I had a little problem that defied all solutions and then someone invited me to the Redeemed Christian Church of God – I came expecting the pastor would just pray and my problems would just go, but instead he said I would have to give my life to Jesus Christ first – that if my sins are gone, my problems would disappear. So of course I resisted for a while but eventually I surrendered and as he said gave my life to Jesus Christ and my problems disappeared.”

3 Ways IT Innovation is Changing the Game for Small Businesses

Today’s business environment is moving at a faster pace than ever before. It’s imperative that organizations of all sizes be nimble enough to respond and pivot according to business and market demands at a moment’s notice, or risk falling behind their competition.
To this point, many small businesses often struggle when it comes to effectively scaling their operations. This process entails making hefty IT investments, and while necessary for continued growth, many entrepreneurs just can’t afford to do so. The end result is a Catch-22 that leaves many small businesses unable to reach their growth potential.
Fortunately, IT innovation is changing the game. Small businesses no longer face the same constraints they have in the past and can scale more effectively than ever before. As a result, here are three ways in which small businesses are benefitting:

5 Books that Has Transformed Me and Many Lives

Newton declared, "Every object in a state of uniform motion tends to remain in that state of motion unless an external force is applied to it."
In other words, if you are flying in the International Space Station and toss an apple out the window (come on, use your imagination), it will keep going in that same direction forever, unless something stops it (like a planet, gravity or alien life form).
Although Newton was talking about physics, little did he know he was also describing life.
People tend to move in the same direction as they always have unless some external force is applied. I don't know about you, but I don't want my life to be lived in a straight line. I want to change, to improve, to crush it. This is why I read.
A book is a powerful external force that can completely knock your life off its mundane straight line and change everything about who you are. The following are five books that did just that in my life.

What You Can Learn From 8 Kids Already Making a Million Dollars

What You Can Learn From 8 Kids Already Making a Million Dollars

There’s no age limit when it comes to being a millionaire these days, and a handful of kids have struck it rich well before they can legally vote. They’re small business owners, inventors and entrepreneurs. I started as an entrepreneur when I was around 11 years old with my first candy stand, which grew to four candy stands, but that was nothing compared to some of these kids!
There’s is no age limit, either, when it comes to learning from others. These impressive kids learned from their own failures early in life but determined to keep going and to do it better the next time around. If you haven’t made your first million yet, the teen next door might actually be able to teach you something.
Check out these eight kids who made a million, or more, and what you can learn from their success:

6 Simple Ways to Increase Your Happiness

Who doesn’t want to be happier?  This brief article will give you six ways to increase your happiness.
You can apply one or all of these keys.
6 Ways to Increase Your Happiness:
1. Workout
“If it weren’t for the fact that the TV set and the refrigerator are so far apart, some of us wouldn’t get any exercise at all.”  –Joey Adams
Research confirms that individuals who workout regularly are happier than those who don’t, all things considered equal.
So why are they happier?  The answer is because they feel better about their bodies, because they’ve found an excellent way to relieve stress, and because they’re getting healthier.
Carol Welch said, “Movement is a medicine for creating change in a person’s physical, emotional, and mental states.”

If You Must Succeed in Any Endeavour,You Must Decide and Burn Any Bridge for Retreat

If You Must Succeed in Any Endeavour,You Must Decide and Burn Any Bridge for Retreat

Anthony C. Nwokolo
If You Must Succeed in Any Endeavour,You Must Burn Any Bridge for Retreat
I read an inspiring story about a captain of a battalion of soldiers, who lead a battalion to the battle field across a sea with a boat and after they have crossed over to the war front and alighted from the boat, the captain set ablaze the boat that conveyed them to the other side of the war zone, and addressed his solders and said; Gentlemen, as you can see the boat which transported us to this place have been set ablaze; that means that we have no means to retreat nor to surrender, we must win this battle, if we must return home alive or we perish here. Guess what happened? They won the battle, as a result of that singular decision and action of their leader, who provided no means for them neither to retreat nor to surrender.

Dont Procrastinate Again... Just Do It. Act now!

Don't Procrastinate Again... Just Do It. Act now

If you want to get promoted on your job, get fit, go back to school, write a book, launch an album, or a business, I have the solution for you…
Quit talking about it, stop waiting for permission, and do it…Enough of procrastination. Do it now, because is the theif of the time.
At the end of the day, all the talk, and all the reasons, and all of the excuses, count for absolutely nothing – a chasing after the wind.  You’re wasting time that could have been used productively to actually: “do it.”
Socrates said “to do, is to be;” the only thing that matters is what you’re doing today.  Are you on track “right now,” or are you making excuses.  In a very real sense, tomorrow never comes; either you do it today, or it never gets done.

The #1 Cause of Divorce

The #1 Cause of Divorce

One of my mentors and friend wrote about the number one cause of of Divorce, and i deem it necessary to share with you my friends here. Because it will save some marriages.

I was in a Finance class for executives recently and we were going over the “Balance Sheet” concept.
The balance sheet, as you may or may not know, consist of assets, liabilities, and equity.  On a balance sheet, the assets must always equal the liabilities, plus the equity.
The professor gave an example, he said, if you purchased a home that cost $400,000, and you made a down payment of $50,000, your balance sheet would look like this:

15 Keys to Incredible Confidence

15 Keys to Incredible Confidence

By Mr. Self Development
There is no such thing as “confidence;” there is only confident behavior that results from confident thinking.
“Confident” people are people who are in the habit of portraying confident behaviors.  The more you “act” confidently, the more confident you will become.
You start off “faking” confidence, and you actually trick your mind into thinking that you are a confident person.  The more you fake it, the more genuine the confidence becomes.
Thinking confidently is a choice, you can choose to be shy and quiet, or you can choose to be confident.
There are times when you “act” shy, and there are times when you “act” confidently.  You are completely in control!  Don’t buy into the lie that you are “shy” around strangers or in front of a large crowd.  No!  You “act” shy when you want to act shy; you flip a switch and you say “Now I’m going to act shy, because I don’t know these people.”

3 Biblical Secrets to Provoking Answers to Your Prayers

Tony Nwokolo, Publisher, Success Stories Blog, Author, Consultant, Preacher, Motivational Speaker
I strongly believe that the God factor cannot be ignored in the pursuit of success, prosperity and Greatness, because without Him we can do nothing sayeth Our Lord Jesus Christ. It is written, in the book of 1 Sam 2: 9c; for by strength shall no man prevail. In the book of Zechariah 4:6 ; its not by power nor by might but by my Spirit says the Lord. In Romans 9:16; its not of he that wills nor of he that runs, but of God that shows mercy. In Deuteronomy 8: 18; but you shall remember the Lord thy God, for it is He that gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.  In view of the foregoing scriptural proofs, we can draw the conclusion that we cannot succeed, achieve nor accomplish anything worthwhile without the mercy, grace, power and aid of God Almighty to attain and accomplish great and worthwhile things.

How to Climb the Corporate Ladder – In 3 Steps

How to Climb the Corporate Ladder – In 3 Steps

By Mr. Self Development
According to Harvey Coleman’s book “Empowering Yourself,” success at work depends on three critical elements, and today I want to discuss those three elements from least important to most important.
# 1: Performance
The least important component of your success at work is your performance on the job.
While great performance is critical to success, Harvey proposes that it only accounts for 10% of what is needed to succeed (i.e. get promoted).
If you rely solely on being a great performer (e.g. being a great worker bee, turning in projects on time, broadening your knowledge base, etc.), this will not take you very far in your career.  The people working the hardest aren’t necessarily the ones being promoted.  Although great performance is critical to success, it’s only the starting point, not the finish line.

5 Ways to Stay Motivated, When You Feel Like Giving Up

Thinking about giving up?  Below are the five reasons you should continue, when you feel like giving up.
When the going gets tough, the tough get motivated.
5 Ways to Stay Motivated, When You Feel Like Giving Up:
1. Remember It’s Not Easy
If what you were trying to accomplish was easy, everyone would be doing it.  If there was a quick fix, if you could work hard for a little while, and then have outrageous success, the line to sign-up for that activity would be “out the door.”

7 Must-Read Success Lessons from Les Brown

By Mr. Self Development
Leslie C. “Les” Brown is a motivational speaker, former U.S. politician, popular author, radio DJ, and former host of The Les Brown Show.
Les Brown was born with his twin brother Wesley on February 17, 1945 in a low-income section of Miami, Florida in an abandoned building. He was subsequently given up for adoption and adopted by Mamie Brown, a then 38-year-old single woman who worked as a cafeteria attendant and domestic assistant. He was declared “educably mentally retarded” while in grade school. Despite the obvious self-esteem issues this created, with the encouragement of his mother and assistance by a helpful teacher in high school, he learned how to reach his full potential, a key point in many motivational speeches he gives now.
